A Knowledge Sharing and Networking Workshop on Flood Based Farming Systems was recently held in Port Sudan, Sudan from 14th – 15th July 2018. The workshop brought together different experts, researchers, government officials, NGOs, farmers and other stakeholders who work on Flood based farming Systems in Sudan and around the world. The workshop was held under the theme Toker Delta; Revitalizing, the bright history for a brighter future” Malawi was represented at the Workshop by Mr. Macpherson Nthara, Chief Land Resources Conservation Officer who is also Coordinator for the Flood Based Livelihood Network – Malawi.
